Celebrating the 100th Black History Month: Honoring Courageous Firsts

PHOENIX (February 17, 2026) — In honor of the 100^th anniversary of Black History Month, TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) is proud to celebrate military and Veteran community Black “Courageous Firsts” whose trailblazing service opened paths for those who followed.

In recognition of this milestone anniversary, TriWest is spotlighting a few prominent Black military members who reshaped the U.S. military and expanded what was possible for generations who followed.
