Scott Peterson

As Chief Information Officer at TriWest Healthcare Alliance, Scott’s portfolio of corporate responsibilities includes Information Technology, Enterprise Applications, IT Architecture, and IT Service Management.

Scott has more than 30 years of experience delivering innovative IT strategies and solutions across public and private sectors. As a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Scott has a deep and personal connection to TriWest’s mission which aligns with his values, interests, and career motivations.

Prior to joining TriWest, Scott served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Medica Health Plan, leading enterprise-wide technology strategy, platform standardization, and governance across legacy and acquired systems.

Scott has also held IT leadership roles with Avalere, the State of Minnesota, and the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
