New VA Scheduling Program Helps Veterans Set Appointments Online

PHOENIX (April 20, 2026) — Earlier this year the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) launched its new technology allowing VA patients to self-schedule their appointments online.

According to VA, the new system offers eligible Veterans the ability to schedule, cancel, and track primary and specialty care appointments with 24/7 access, efficiency, and a streamlined platform to manage their care.

The new technology provides Veterans receiving VA health benefits a resource to manage their health appointments online if they are a patient at a VA medical facility. The appointments Veterans can schedule depend on the facility, the type of care, and other factors, VA says.
