WASHINGTON (December 30, 2025) — As we enter a new year, Veterans navigating life’s stressful challenges can sometimes feel overwhelmed, but they should never feel they have to face it alone.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) wants Veterans to know there are numerous support resources and professionals are immediately available to help when facing crisis.
According to VA, these important resources help Veterans, caregivers, and loved ones find support, recognize crisis signs, and act quickly to prevent suicide.
The resources promote education, raise awareness, and connect Veterans with life-saving support. Recognizing crisis signs and acting quickly can help turn the tide against Veteran suicide, VA adds.
