Inspiration and Rejuvenation at the 2025 National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic

PHOENIX (October 2, 2025) — Nearly 150 disabled and injured U.S. Veterans gathered for a rejuvenating week of adaptive sports and activities at the 18th National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic Aug. 24-30 in San Diego, Calif.

The event, hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs in collaboration with presenting sponsor Wounded Warrior Project®, brought together recently disabled and injured Veterans from across the nation.

Veterans participating in the energizing annual clinic live with challenging disabilities and injuries including amputations, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and more.

As a strong supporter of adaptive sports and activities for disabled and injured Veterans, TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) is proud to be an annual sponsor. Each year, TriWest attends the inspiring event to share the stories, enthusiasm, and rejuvenating camaraderie displayed by resilient Veterans.
