The Air Force has initiated a new program to help airmen and their families deal with stress. Capitalizing on the time-honored tradition of Airmen taking care of Airmen, under this program airmen are encouraged to act as a wingmen and look out for each other’s well being. In the words of CMSAF Gerald Murray "Today’s operations tempo at home, and while deployed can cause a great deal of stress, anxiety, and even grief for our Airmen and their families. As any battle commander knows, you have to recognize when you need reinforcements."
