By sponsoring regional programs and funneling charitable contributions into our West Region communities, we at TriWest Healthcare Alliance are honored to support our nation's Service members through collaboration with the following organizations:
Programs We Salute
America Supports You TriWest has pledged its support as a Corporate Team Member of this nationwide program, which recognizes and channels citizen aid to military Service members at home and abroad. The DoD-sponsored organization also is also tasked with communicating that support to active duty troops.
Armed Services YMCA TriWest is a proud supporter and national sponsor of the national Armed Services YMCA . This non-profit organization , working with the Department of Defense, has provided support services to our nation 's military Service members and their families for more than 140 years.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
TriWest is a star-level supporter of ESGR, established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve component members and their civilian employers. It acts to resolve conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment and is the lead DoD organization for this mission.
Fisher House Because military members and their families are stationed worldwide and often travel great distances for specialized medical care, TriWest supports Fisher House--a network of "comfort homes" built near major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to their loved ones during stressful times of extended medical care.
NMFA Operation Purple Camp The National Military Family Association's "Operation Purple Camp" offers a free week of summer fun for children of parents deployed to military action, where campers learn coping skills to better handle separation. TriWest supports select camps within the TRICARE West Region.
Operation Homefront Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. Since it began, following the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Operation Homefront has provided critical assistance to more than 45,000 military families.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Both the national Foundation and its affiliates fund community-based breast health education, screening, treatment and patient support through awards to not-for-profit organizations. TriWest participates in fundraising for the Foundation by actively sponsoring any employee who participates in their local Race for the Cure event.
TAPS The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers hope, healing, comfort and care to American armed forces families grieving after the death of a Service member. TriWest annually sends families to TAPS' "Good Grief Camps" to bolster healthy emotional healing in children who've lost parents in service.
Toys for Tots
Helping needy children experience the joys of the holidays both unites local communities in a common cause and motivates those helped to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and future community leaders. TriWest supports Toys for Tots programs in many of its TRICARE West Region communities.
United Service Organization (USO) TriWest is proud to have a long-standing relationship with this congressionally-chartered, nonprofit organization -- the spiritual force behind America's military. TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. is a member of the USO World Board.
United Way United Ways across the country bring diverse people and resources together to address the most urgent issues their communities face. TriWest conducts an annual employee fundraising drive to support a wide variety of needs within our communities.
