William Vandenbosch

In his role as Advisor to the President and CEO, Bill Vandenbosch is responsible for the continued development and improvement of TriWest's shareholder and provider network relations. He is also responsible for Human Resources and Leadership Development and Training. Mr. Vandenbosch joined the company in April 2002 as the Vice President of Provider Services and most recently held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining TriWest, Mr. Vandenbosch worked for Banner Health System, in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was responsible for the operation of the medical services organization, a regional network of primary care and sub-specialty physicians including managed care contracting, providing physician practice management and billing services, and developing quality guidelines for preventive health and disease management for physician practices. Mr. Vandenbosch spent 10 years at not-for-profit health care organization in Arizona, most recently as Senior Vice President of Medical Services. He holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Toledo in Ohio, and a bachelor's degree in political science from State University College at Oneonta, N.Y.
