Scott K. CelleyScott K. Celley is Vice President of External Affairs at TriWest, overseeing the communications, government relations and marketing activities of the company. He has more than 20 years experience in the government relations and communication arena, including service as a Senior Advisor to both federal and state officials. Prior to joining TriWest, Mr. Celley was a Senior Advisor to Governor Jane Dee Hull, serving as the liaison between the State of Arizona and the federal government on issues including health care, energy, public lands and transportation. He also served as the Chairman of the Staff Council for the Western Governors Association and he represented Arizona on the National Governors Association Energy Task Force. Before joining the governor's staff, Mr. Celley was the Director of Government and Public Relations for Maricopa County, the nation's fifth largest county. Prior to his work at Maricopa County, he was the Regional Director for Senator Jon Kyl. In that position, Mr. Celley represented the Senator across the state on all manners of federal issues. He worked in Washington, D.C. for 12 years for several members of Congress, including eight years on the staff of Senator John McCain and served as an advisor to senior armed services and defense appropriations members, including Representative Norm Dicks. Mr. Celley also served as an advisor on defense issues for Senator Slade Gorton. He’s a National Board Member of the Armed Services YMCA, Armed Forces Foundation and Operation Homefront. Mr. Celley earned his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
