Our Vision

TriWest is committed to preserving the integrity, flexibility and durability of the military health care system by supplementing the military health system with access to the finest civilian medical services available, thereby contributing to the continued superiority of U.S. combat readiness. TriWest believes this is best accomplished through a partnership between the military's direct-care system and the private sector, which results in an integrated approach to meeting the health needs of active duty military members, retirees and their families.

Our Mission

TriWest's mission is to provide its customers access to high-quality, cost-effective health care services and superior customer service while returning a reasonable profit to its owners.

Our owners are comprised of 16 not-for-profit health care organizations and two university hospital systems based throughout our region. Each assists with the contracting of health care providers who will provide care for TRICARE beneficiaries in the state in which they operate.

It is through this network of locally managed, civilian providers that TriWest enhances the strength of America's military health care system.
