TriWest Contributes $1.2 Million to the USO
2007 Corporate Contribution Supports Military Communities Worldwide
ARLINGTON, Va. — On Oct. 25, TriWest Healthcare Alliance will present the USO with a check for $1.2 million at the USO Center at Ramstein Air Base, Germany for the corporation’s 2007 contribution to the USO. This contribution will support USO centers, special events, programs and entertainment tours.

"We recognize the sacrifices that service members and their families make for this country, and with the help of companies like TriWest, we can ensure that our troops are remembered and supported."
Money received will support operations and special events at the USO Center at Ramstein Air Base, USO Hawaii, USO El Paso, Texas, USO of San Diego, USO of Puget Sound Area, Inc. and USO Europe, the USO World Gala, construction of a new USO center at Fort Carson, Colo., USO entertainment tours and other vital programs and services.

Since 2002, TriWest Healthcare Alliance has supported the USO, having chaired the USO World Gala for the past four years. In 2005, the USO Worldwide Strategic Partner committed $950,000 to support capitol improvements, renovations and operations of USO Europe. The company also has enabled the USO to continue to deliver morale-boosting programs and services to troops and their families worldwide.
