Dear Provider,

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is pleased to have been selected as the managed care support contractor for the 21 states and 2.6 million TRICARE beneficiaries in the West Region. Our focus is to assist the military treatment facilities in our region and ensure that the highest quality health care is readily accessible to TRICARE beneficiaries. The TRICARE program is unique in that it partners civilian providers and military providers to deliver the best care possible to our beneficiaries when and where they need it.

Our network providers recognize the sacrifices their TRICARE beneficiaries have made in the service of our country. TriWest has an obligation to all providers in our networks. We will support you, strive to minimize administrative burdens, pay claims accurately and on time, and always be aware that without your participation this special population could not receive the care they have earned and so richly deserve.

As Chief Medical Officer, I will make every effort to ensure that network providers’ issues are addressed promptly and that as a team, TriWest, our military providers and our network providers continue to serve those who have served us.
