TRICARE Information

TRICARE Service Center Closures

TRICARE Service Centers (TSCs) at Peterson Air Force Base, Fort Carson and The Air Force Academy, are closed Friday, March 27 due to winter storm conditions in the Pikes Peak area. All Colorado Springs TSCs are expected to be open at normal times Monday, March 30. Call your local TSC to confirm.

However, the emergency room at Fort Carson and the acute care clinic at the Air Force Academy are still open. If you need assistance from a closed TSC, please call TriWest at 1-888-TRIWEST (874-9378).

Getting Emergency Care

Hospitals throughout Colorado and southern Wyoming remain open. In an emergency, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room. Emergency care does not require a referral or authorization; however, you or your family should notify TriWest at 1-888-TRIWEST (874-9378) within 24 hours after receiving emergency care.
