TRICARE Continues Select OTC Medications at Zero Copay
The TRICARE Over-The-Counter (OTC) medication demonstration began at TRICARE retail pharmacies in October 2007. It allowed TRICARE
beneficiaries to substitute over-the-counter versions for selected prescription drugs. Due to the savings with OTC medications and the
positive feedback, TRICARE has continued this program with a zero copay.
