TRICARE Provider eSeminar

Thank you for your interest in taking a TRICARE Provider eSeminar. TriWest Healthcare Alliance developed these online seminars with busy providers and their staff in mind. TRICARE Provider eSeminars allow providers and their staff to learn about TRICARE and TriWest in the comfort of their own office, home or any location with Internet access. In addition, the eSeminars are a good way to educate new staff about TRICARE and for experienced staff to get a refresher on specific topics or areas of interest.

To take an eSeminar, you will need headphones or speakers on your computer. It is important to complete the online form at the end of the eSeminar in order to allow us to track your “attendance.” You will need your Tax Identification Number(s) (TIN) to complete the online form.

If you can’t complete the eSeminar in one setting, you can pause it and finish it later.

You will need to have the latest Flashplayer installed to view the eSeminars – Click here to download and install the Flashplayer.

You may begin an eSeminar immediately. No pre-registration is required and there is no waiting. Just click on the title of the eSeminar that you wish to take. At the completion of the eSeminar, follow the additional instructions to receive credit for taking the course.

CMS-1500	This eSeminar is for TRICARE West Region providers who submit claims using the CMS-1500 format. It provides an overview of claims submission and payment, claims status and issue resolution, reimbursement, and provider resources. It is not intended to cover specific claims issues or inquiries. Durable Medical Equipment	This webinar is for durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers. It provides an overview of the TRICARE DME benefit, authorization requirements and submission, DME claims and reimbursement, and provider resources. This webinar will cover general information and is not intended to cover specific claims issues or inquiries. Note: this webinar does not cover orthotics, prosthetics, enteral, or parenteral nutrition.	30
EDI	This Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) eSeminar discusses the benefits, advantages and the workflow for your online claims process. You will learn about the following topics: EDI transmission options, guidelines for other health insurance and secondary claims, electronic remittance advices, electronic funds transfer, and how to access and use the claims status report. You will also learn about HIPAA 5010, and ICD-10 and provider resources.	60
Extended Care Health Option (ECHO)	This eSeminar is for Extended Care Health Option (ECHO) providers. ECHO supplements the basic TRICARE benefit for active duty family members with special needs.
