It’s official … TriWest’s online referral and authorization submission tool (CareAffiliate) on TriWest’s secure provider website is now compatible with Mozilla Firefox Web browsers.

This is great news for Firefox users since they will now have the ability to submit referral and authorization requests and inpatient admission notifications online through the secure provider website.

This means that not only will these PC Firefox users be able to save paper and ink by not needing to fax these requests anymore, but they will also be able to save time since the majority of “clean” referral and authorization requests are processed immediately!* 

*Certain requests (e.g., request for active duty Service members, medical review or right of first refusal) may require additional time.

In addition, when these requests are successfully submitted online, the user will immediately receive a reference number, giving him/her the ability to view up-to-the-minute status updates on TriWest’s secure provider website, regardless of whether he/she is the requesting or servicing provider.
