KePRO Now TRICARE Quality Monitoring Contractor

On April 1, 2011, Keystone Peer Review Organization (KePRO) began serving as the TRICARE® Quality Monitoring Contractor (TQMC) as part of TRICARE's Quality and Utilization Review Peer Review Organization Program.
As the TRICARE Quality Monitoring Contractor, KePRO assists TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) and the TRICARE Regional Offices by providing an independent, impartial evaluation of health care provided to the Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries.
Facility Certification
TQMC certifies the following types of mental health facilities that apply to become TRICARE-authorized providers:
- Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) - freestanding only
- Residential treatment centers (RTC)
- Substance use disorder rehabilitation facilities (SUDRF) - freestanding only
