TriWest a Finalist for Hiring Our Heroes Award

PHOENIX — TriWest Healthcare Alliance is a national award finalist for its ongoing efforts to employ veterans and military spouses.

TriWest is up for the Veteran and Military Spouse Employment Award, which is part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's 1^st Annual Lee Anderson Hiring Our Heroes Awards.

Winners will be announced November 10 in Washington D.C. TriWest joins BNSF Railway, PepsiCo, Walmart and VSE Corporation as finalists in the Veteran and Military Spouse Employment Award category.

"We know first-hand the outstanding skills that veterans, military spouses, and National Guard and Reserve members bring to a team. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is spearheading the awards to "begin a new tradition this year of recognizing specific businesses that have gone above and beyond to honor the sacrifices our military families make in their service to our nation," according to the Chamber's website.
