Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

In his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Haggerty is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting, health plan design and management, government contract administration, information technology, data management, actuarial, program integrity, and facilities and materials management functions of TriWest. He is also responsible for the oversight and management of WPS, TriWest's major subcontractor that performs claims processing, customer service and other valuable services for TriWest.

Mr. Haggerty has more than 23 years of extensive financial experience in the healthcare industry. In addition to his 10 years of service to TriWest, his experience includes working for Baptist Hospitals and Health Systems for nine years as Assistant Vice President of Finance; and Vice President of Managed Care. In these capacities, he was responsible for all financial operations, financial analysis, joint venture negotiation and provider contracting. He also served for four years as Vice President of Finance for Regent Health Care Corporation.

Mr. Haggerty has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University. Mr. Haggerty currently serves as a board member for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.
