General Counsel

Janet Kornblatt has worked at TriWest Healthcare Alliance Corp since 2001. She initially served as Associate General Counsel, then as Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and in 2005 she became the company's General Counsel and Secretary. Ms. Kornblatt is responsible for overseeing all of TriWest's legal, internal audit and corporate compliance functions.

Ms. Kornblatt has a master's degree in political science from the University of York in England, a master's degree in public health (health administration) from Columbia University, a J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law and 30 years of experience in health care and law.

Prior to joining TriWest, she practiced with the Phoenix law firm of O'Connor, Cavanaugh, focusing on complex medical products litigation, medical malpractice defense, and health and hospital law.
