‘4-Pack’ for a Good Time...TriWest Treats Military Families to the Poinsettia Bowl
PHOENIX (December 17, 2007) — TriWest Healthcare Alliance is treating 100 military families from Lincoln Military Housing in San Diego a Poinsettia Bowl four-pack – four game tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas."Our families are very excited about going to the game and the tickets are going very fast," said Lincoln Military Housing’s Community Services Director Cindy Farless. "This was totally unexpected and everyone is appreciative of TriWest’s generous gift."
The 400 tickets to see the Naval Academy face University of Utah on Dec. 20 are part of TriWest’s annual contributions initiative to give back to the military and to recognize the sacrifices of Service members and their families as they defend the nation.
"We at TriWest know the sacrifices that Service members and their families make, and as an expression of our appreciation, we wanted to treat these special people to an evening of fun and help make their holiday memorable," said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr.
TriWest administers the military’s health care plan, TRICARE, for 2.9 million military beneficiaries in California and 20 other western states.
