"For the Troops" CDs will be distributed at United Service Organization (USO) centers, Fisher Houses, military hospitals and through ‘America Supports You’ partner organizations, such as Operation Homefront and others. CDs will also be delivered to troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and throughout the world.

"Music can be a powerful tool in lifting the morale and spirit of our military members and their families," said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. "This CD is filled with songs of hope and inspiration to those who sacrifice so much to secure our freedoms. It is a tribute to America's military and their families for all that they do."

The complete track list includes:
  • Billy Joel – Scenes from an Italian Restaurant
  • Brooks & Dunn – Keep on Swingin’
  • Five for Fighting – 100 Years
  • The Fray – How to Save a Life (acoustic)
  • Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band – Sweet Home Chicago
  • Goo Goo Dolls – Feel the Silence (remix)
  • Jewel – Hands
  • Josh Groban – February Song
  • Los Lonely Boys – Heaven
  • Melissa Etheridge – Come to my Window
  • Montgomery Gentry – My Town
  • The Neville Brothers – Brothers
  • Sarah McLachlan – Wintersong
"I'd like to thank the artists, labels, and publishers who have joined me in saluting our troops and their families with music," Ondrasik said. "I'm hoping in this compilation you find a song that inspires, motivates, provides an avenue for reflection or simply distracts you from a mission few can imagine much less undertake. Your sacrifice secures our liberty and that of our children. If anything, let each tune be a small piece of home to carry you forward. From the Ondrasik family to you and yours, we thank you and we love you."
